Hy guys i ve takn my dataone connection last month..iam in home 500 plan..I ve some problem regrding bill generation .when will my bill generate..i mean before which date i ve 2 finish my 2.5 gb...Dy gave me a paper telling about date of creation n it is 16-05-2009...plz help me guys

Billing period is from 1st to 31 st of month (30 in some case). If you connection starts on 16/5/2009. You are not eligible for 2.5 GB for that month. You will get half of 2.5 GB for 15 days (1 GB = 1024 MB). It is not like 16 th to 16 th.


Also remember to switch off and ON your modem at 12.00 am if you are downloading throughout the night during last day of the month. Otherwise it will be charged in previous month's bill. Your BSNL email ID will receive an alert mail when you have passed the usage limit. There are other methods to monitor your usage. To avoid copy paste, please go through

I believe you are using Home 500 C+.

For extra MB, BSNL will charge 80 paise. From May 16 to May 31 say you have 1.25 GB and you used only 600 MB. Then you are quite safe. From 1st of every month a new slot starts with 2.5 GB download. You have time till June 30 to use this new 2.5 GB. From 16 th May to 31 st May it is broken period. Bill normally arrives by 7 th of each month. Please check the link given in the previous post you can calculate the data usage and calculate the bill amount.
