Rep Power: 0 | Hi, Does anybody know how to configure UTSTARCOM WA3002G4 router/modem to have a particular IP address mapped to a particular MAC address so that the machine with that address will always get that IP address upon DHCP requests?. In a way, reserving that IP address for the machine with the MAC address. This is possible in the Huawei WA1003A modem/router. Can anyone help me to configure this in the WA3002G4 router? i don't want to setup my laptop to a static IP address wirelessly as i will be using it with other routers at work or some other place and don't want to constantly go in control panel to change the IP address acquiring mechanism. Thanks. |

Rep Power: 2 | You can Automate the process of changing IP's by using netsh command in batch files. Last edited by Karamjeet; 06-19-09 at 01:04 PM. Reason: Typo |
