Thread: bsnl plan change, please help

hello
i applied for a plan change from startup250 to home up 750 plus
my portal is showing order status as "provisioned"

Order Type Plan Change
Plan Name Home UL 750 Plus
Order Status Provisioned

and when i check usage,
its showing 0 kb chargeable units

also im getting a speed of about .42Mb/sec as measured by speedtest.net
please tell me is it changed or i have to wait

Your plan has indeed been changed.

Proofs:
1. Plan status says 'Provisioned'. Provisioned means done.
2. Your speedtest result is shows .42 mbps which is about 430 kbps. This is more than 256 kbps but there are rumours that speeds of UL750 plan will be (have been) increased to 512 kbps.
3. Usage shows "0" kb chargeable. This means that you are on the unlimited plan.

I have one more doubt about it.
last year when i made a plan change, i could see the chargeable units as usage, but this year its showing 0, have they made any change in this system too ?

In the UL750 plan, there is no charge for usage - everything is unlimited and hence nothing is shown in that column.

In other words...you leave the internet running for 24x7..30 days a month and you will never be charged for more than 750+tax.

hey even in my portal provisioned has been mentioned & effective starting date is given as 24/01/2010 ie today....what 2 do shall i use it from today....??

Please mention your current plan and plan applied. Provisioned means plan change effective. You can start using it.

my current plan is/was home 250 startup plan & i applied by paying advance rental for UL 750 plan even in effective date its showing 24/01/2010 from & previous plan status is given as cancelled & present UL750 its given as provisioned ...........so i hope i can use unlimited or do i need to wait till month end its hard 2 wait but i cold c d change in speed also ..........k thx
