Smile Help getting only max 190kbps download speed on torrents

    hi every1,
i have shifted from Home UL 750 to Home 500C, due to speed......using IDM i do get over 200kbps transfer rate. but in torrentz downloaded from private trackers the speed just doesn't go above 200kbps it always remain on avg. 190kbps. i have patched the TCP/iP ports & some minor tweaks on utorrent

1 more thing i have a cordless phone attached to landline.......the bfone provided by BSNL is just crap does the cordless phone affects the speed during Night Unlimited......(2am-8pm)

Acually it should not affect, unless from that connection you are getting some disturbance in your line.

Torrent speed depends on lot of factors so i hope you know it and you are talking about the file which has over 50 seeders.

If this is the case just change the port you are using and try again.

for torrents 190KBps is very good.in fact rarely will you get more than 210KBps consistently on torrents even private ones.even i used to get ~200KBps for 2 private torrents while ~220KBps on direct downloads using IDM.
