Thread: Unable to open the router configurations plz help.....

frens iam using UT300R2U router with Ethernet.
when m tryin to open 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 iam unable to open the router configurations....
so plz suggest me something so that i can get them back...

1. Try Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test, note down your IP and type it in your address bar.

2. Restart/ change the browser and try 192.168.1.1

3. Start > Run > cmd > ipconfig/all, check your IP and enter it in your address bar.

4. Restart the computer/ modem or both and try again.

i tried bt no use...m still not gettin d configurations page

Please post ipconfig/all screen shot.

Open TCP/IP Properties and set an ip address to your system say some thing different what you gave to your router for example if you router is having ip 192.168.1.1 then give you syatem 192.168.1.2 or something else in range. hope it works.

Confirm you are getting connected to Internet and surf.
Then try suggestions above.
If Not
Reset the modem to factory settings.
( press the reset button for 30 seconds with power on )

Able to connect to internet ?

your LAN settings are wrong.in your LAN TCP/IP settings set IP to 192.168.1.6,subnet mask 255.255.255.0 & default gateway 192.168.1.1.set primary DNS to 208.67.222.222 & alternate to 208.67.220.220.

Some users use to have more than one connection or some post from friend's just need to check to find out the real issue.

to help the member to
enter settings in his modem, in case he RESETS
the modem to factory settings.

The reason for deletion may be kindly mentioned.
