Rep Power: 1 | i am facing a strange problem. i am not able to browse most websites. i tried in IE and Google chrome. i am only able to browse a few sites like yahoo, rediff, google and some other sites. most other websites are not getting displayed. i get the default "page cannot be displayed" error of the browser torrent downloads and voice chat via skype are working fine. is this a problem with my connection? plz help |

| Please try Open DNS ![]() Local area connection > properties > TCP/IP > Properties > DNS |

Rep Power: 1 | well, i havent changed any such setting and everything used to work fine until a few days ago. how can i know my DNS address? i checked it. both ip and dns are set to "obtain automatically" |

| Select the manual input option and enter these values. Try after saving the DNS. Your current DNS value is BSNL DNS and it shows similar problems at times. You can always revert to your present state by selecting the automatic option. Last edited by meetdilip; 06-20-09 at 01:59 PM. |

| It was not your fault. This has been a common issue with BSNL DNS numbers. As meetdilip showed you, keep using the new settings and you will not have this kind of issue in the future. |
