Thread: emergency ! bsnl home 500 !

i am using home 500 connection for past 8 months and getiing the speed of 230 kBps easily but from past 2 to 3 days i got speed only between 100 to 150 kBps and thats for all the sites including private trakers , microsoft etc !

what should i do ?
i formated my computer recently so no chance of virus !
should i configure my modem again ? if yes then how ? my modem (zte zxdsl 531b)
please help me !
i am from gujarat. is this speed fluctuation is normal ?

Some fluctuation is normal. It gets corrected usually in a few days. Yet, you can complain to BSNL, they will look into it, if there is any problem in the line etc., they will correct.

It will be nice to observe for a week. May be some temporary fluctuation due to some BSNL activities.
