Default Require authentication to visit bsnl.in

I just tried to open bsnl.in and it asked for my username and password.
    Anyone knows what's happening?

I did not give it my username and password though. Could it be possible that the site is hacked?

Did you mean either http://bbservice.bsnl.in/ or data.bsnl.in , then you need to get your user ID and password by calling customer care.

Yes. Both http://bsnl.in/ and http://www.bsnl.co.in/ are asking for password.

May be some maintenance at the BSNL end.
