Rep Power: 2 | I have a problem opening some certain sites. While searching on google , I came to know changing the MTU may solve the problem. os : windows xp service pack 2 router type : UT300R2U. I can't find any option to change the MTU value in my modem. please help . best regards, Spectre |

| MTU option will be in internet connection settings. Before trying MTU, try Open DNS |

| Changing DNS is a simple process. You can always switch back to previous one. |

Rep Power: 2 | So the other options you mentioned in your first post do works? I read somewhere in the different site's forum these options change only registry values only but the modem's MTU does not get affected.Sites such as speedguide.net shows the unaffected results. please confirm this. |
