    I checked with my old router & it was having the disconnection problem. I guess the modem was a faulty one. I really regret for not changing the modem for such a long time.

    That is not true.. !! I have Bsnl Broadband with wireless Modem and it Continuously on 24 Hrs because of its heavy use I never had problem with heating up the modem. Kindly contact your BSNL Local Exchange they must give you new modem but heating up modem this is very newfor me as i an using BSNL services for last 3 years
