Question Any ISP plan better than BSNL Home 500?

Currently i'm using BSNL Home 500 plan for 5,000/- annually.
    [upto 2mbps speed]

But one problem is unlimited downloads during 2am to 8am only.

any other ISP plan giving similar or more speed with unlimited usage or better than BSNL Home 500 plan?

But it shouldn't be much costlier.

I can extend my budget 1,000-2,000/- more.

    Simply no!
If customer care comes second then BSNL is the best

500 plans are the best available. For no other ISP, NU (if there any) is 6 hours long; and if there, not at this speed.

Everything is black and white in the 2 replies above. To put an even clearer perspective:

    - There are other ISPs that offer some degree of night unlimited but it is not free
    - There NU plan by these ISPs is offered as a top-up plan at extra charge
    - The download speed is usually limited to 256 kbps (300 kbps in case of Reliance)
    - Airtel has withdrawn this plan for new subscribers
    - But those ISPs offer a more wider window - something like 10 PM to 8 AM.

The only ISP that offers NU plan like BSNL is MTNL but BSNL and MTNL operate in mutually exclusive teritorries.

As on date, almost all Pvt ISPs have implemented the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) which means that even though u pay for the Unlimited Plan, u are charged (either by way of additional payment or by way of reduction of speed) the moment u exceed certain download limit.
Considering the FUP factor, there is just no match for BSNL 500 plan for someone who does heavy downloading.

    NO
Still I think BSNL 500 C+/C is the best plan.
    Because
    1. Low Rental
    2. Night unlimited facility
    3. Speed upto 2 mbps (Personally I get 1.5-2 mbps)
    4. 2 month rental rebate in yearly payment
    5. 2.5 GB usage limit also good in 500 rental plan.

actually EVDO is used in some of the data card.
so all EVDO are datacards but all datacard is not EVDO.

Airtel offers 2mbps plan with 1GB Day Download and Night Unlimited.

This aint a open plan, like you cannot get a form and sign up for new connection

Yu must be an existing customer and also you wont get it easily.

My friend got this plan by threatening that he is going to switch to BSNL

Even many of my Airtel friends requested but they said No Such Plan Exist
