Thread: wired broadband being neglected

hey guys now a days we are all seeing new wireless broadband from bsnl and other ISP's .

i dont understand why they forget us(wired users) there is lot to done and expected of them in the wired broadband category like better schemes and better speeds ...............why are the hell they are not intrested?????

wired broadband is better suitable for gaming purposes,torrents,it gives consistent speed ,good latency,more reliable....

i dont understand why it is neglected then???

efforts should be made to increase wired broadband speed,better schemes and infrastucture!!

Govt thinks otherwise. Like we moved from landline to mobile, the policies are framed to boost mobile or wireless internet all over India. While they become popular the cost and demand for wireless broadband will automatically come down.

we moved to mobiles bt 1 dont think cost of land line became very less!!!
same applies for wired broadband.....i think due to what is happening now they are not going to improve!!
not only for BSNL all the isp's are emphasizing on wireless!!

It is a simple case of economics.

Wireless broadband is much cheaper to provide. All you need to do is construct towers by leasing space from buildings.

4 reason for prefering wired broadband[750ul] over EVDO


1) Wired broadband is very consistent and reliable.

2) Moreover the latency is constant which is very essential for playing games.

3) Downloading from torrents will also be difficult in EVDO as port forwarding is not possible.

4) If evdo tower is not near to the house your life would be miserable!!

well i believe the EVDO coverage in bangalore is excellent..

this is a conspiracy to root out the wired users just because people in the entertainment buisness are scared of us netizens because of our high speeds and of course all u people know that india has the one of the most expensive tariff connections in the world
