Default How to extend wifi range of utstarcom wa3002g4

    Hi friends

i have gone thru lot of posts on lot of web site. I have got a very simple & basic problem. I've got a bsnl provided utstarcom wa3002g4 adsl modem router, which is connected to my desktop by ethernet & i use wifi facility on my laptop for accessing net/ lan. (pppoe mode, wpa psk).
However on my first floor i have got wifi signal problem. (adsl modem router is on g.f.), what to do now. I can not move my utstarcom thing and need 100% wireless solution.
I called some guy for this, he spent 8 hrs configuring dlink 2100 ap in repeater mode & ultimately left saying that it can not be done.
Kindly provide me some detailed solution with some compatible hardware with brand/ model.

Thanks in advance, hope for an early response.

    Regards

    Lightbulb Not Supported

For DWL-2100AP The only Access Point´s supported in Repeater mode are the DWL-900AP+ and the DWL-800AP+.

You have to use another wireless router as Repeater.

    Lightbulb No Standard

Repeater mode may be incompatible between different products (even occasionally from the same vendor) as it is not certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance

Please refer to the implementations Link in following Wiki Article for Compatible Products
