Thread: wireless connection problem please help

i have ZTE ZXDSL 831AII modem given by bsnl people
and i have a pronet wireless router for using wireless on my laptop

The problem is when i use always on (pppoe mode) connection
i am able to connect and use net through wireless on my laptop but when i change my ZTE modem settings to bridge mode i.e like dial up i can detect my wireless router (PRONET), which is connected through ethernet cable to ZTE modem and connect to it on my laptop but internet doesnot work
where as when i use always on type of setting on my ZTE modem it works fine
can someone please help me how to make my wireless work even on type bridge mode connection
any help will be appreciated

Mention the model/make of your Pronet.wifi router.

when connected are you able ot access 192.168.1.1 ?

Is DHCP enabled?
