Exclamation ATM PVC Configuration - BSNL ITI Wireless router (DNA-A211-I)

Hello,

I am trying to configure the ATM PVC while configuring the BSNL wireless router. However, I dont have much knowledge what the configs for Peak Cell Rate: [cells/s], Sustainable Cell Rate: [cells/s] & Maximum Burst Size: [cells] will be if I use Realtime VBR as Service Category. Or for that matter the Peak Cell Rate: [cells/s] if CBR is used as Service Category.
If anyone has tried out these settings, any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks.

Why are you asking for these settings? I mean modifying the routers for cell. Wait for others to respond. I still cant understand why do you want to as the things come up with config when you ask the guy to do it for you.

Well today one guy came from BSNL to fix some problems in my router and I asked if this setting can be changed. He said he doesnt have any idea and he thinks its best to keep the default setting. You might knw how these people are...they have just the amount of knowledge required to do their job and thats it.
I am not even sure if these settings can be done in the router and if that will help in any way. Just being curious.

@ayankm
If you have the menu option to change any value in your
modem settings, you can try to change.

( Precaution : Save /backup modem/router working settings
to hard disk say C:/dna211 back up. or take screen shots of all pages)

Para two:
For future reference: if anything goes wrong
use the installation disk.
Confirm.

Para three:

1.will update later if any new information is gathered,
after doing a
search in Google /Yahoo search engines.

2.Probably when the mod mode is changed say
from ADSL2+ to GDMT we find snr/attn/line speed etc change.
( usually recommended for a stable connection )
Did not bother to notice changes in above PCR etc, parameters.

Thanks for raising the query.
