maybe yes or maybe no, but to say

"half of my bandwith was eaten by OpenDNS. These OpenDNS servers make money from advertisements and they eat your bandwith for their usage."

is a purely biased or ignorant statement.

yeah....at working place we have LAN. The server has BSNL DNS & i use open DNS on lappy...i hardly see any difference.
