Hi all

I have a BSNL Broadband connection which keeps breaking at regular intervals, it only works for a minute or so and then breaks up again...repeated complaints have not yeilded any results. Sometime when it breaks up, switching off the modem and turning it on again works for a minute and again

..please suggest me a solution on this issue.

UT-300R2U ADSL MODEM CONNECTION
1.Check your connections as per above diagram.______________________

2.all PHONES AFTER THE adsl SPLITTER. _______________________________

3.Select your modem from above maIN MENU.____________________________

Still problem give feedback.

The problem is occuring to me and many other people and it started from July 1st. Connection is very unstable and I experience major problem during free night hours. Every night the connection breaks after sometime. The answer from BSNL guys is same ... maybe line or modem problems but it is not so. Hope BSNL would cut those crap and take some action.

You should switch to pppoe mode.Your router will automatically redial when it disconnects.
I'm experiencing the same problem.Yesterday the connection was OK till 2 am .But when I restarted the router at 2.05 am the speed almost became half.Also the connection became unstable.I checked the router page and it showed a lots of Super Frame Errors.I swiched to ADS2 modulation and somehow manged to download 1.6 GB. I think BSNL is doing this to stop us from downloading. Anybody else having this problem ??

login to your modem and post your SNR details..

I have'nt been able download a file completely for few days, the conneciton is too damn unstable,

That's just crappy of bsnl, never experienced such a condition with bsnl, but they are really irritating nowdays during the night time.

Unable to download a single thing for last 3 nights..... due to unavailability of connection.

What the **** is this ??????

I have faced such situations in the past (open the first link in my signature and read "My intercations with BSNL").

You need to be very patient with BSNL and cursing them on the face does not help at all. But situation gets fixed in a few days.
