Thread: Please help me to setup WiFi connection

Hi All,
I am using BSNL Dataone UL750 broadband connection through modem: UT300R2U now I bought a wireless router (D-Link DIR 615) to use with my laptop. After reading all post in this forum I tried to setup a wireless network on my own but failed. Requesting all forum member to please help me on this.

Presume your laptop is connecting to Internet in LAN mode.

Did you get an Installation CD for Dlink dir 615 ?
What error message you got when "wizard" was run ?

Could you access the modem/router settings pages ?
4.
Did you assign a different IP for the d link unit ?

5.
Start \All programs \ Accessories \Communications\
Wireless Network set up wizard.
Hope you have done the settings.

6.Start/Network / show all connections
select wireless Network

7.do you see your Network or any other
secured unsecured wifi networks ?

8. Please post Ipconfig /all
with Dlink router connected.
