Question Can anyone give solution to my typical problem( billing process )

    Hello friends

I am new to BSNL broadband. I have taken 500C plan in which 1.5 gb/(2am-8am free) . My connection started on 17/06/2009 i.e on last month. BSNL billed the usages on last date of every month i.e on 30th last month. Now my confusion is that whether I have got full 1.5 gb to use till 30th or it will be charged proportionately i.e 1.5GB/30= 50MB/day basis so days frm 17-30 =14 so it will be charged 14*50=700MB.(my limit ) or it will continue to add till next 17/07/09.+

BSNL website has also mentioned that it will be charged in that proportion. So it means I will get full 1.5GB from 1st of this month till 31st and not in previous month.
So my plan 500Rs so also be divided in same proprtion i.e per day basis.

    Please explain!!!!!!!!!

You will not get full 1.5 GB.

    Eligible for 14/30 X 1.5 GB. 1 GB = 1024 MB

Billing cycle starts from first of every month.

both charges and free usage would be billed proportionately for the actual number of days.

Default It is better to ask BSNL

It is better to go to BSNL broadband office and ask them about it.

We can only say how billing is done etc.. but cant give everything in detail.
Better go and confirm in BSNL office itself. They are the one's who will bill your amount. They can give you every detial you want

As meetdilip said, your changes for last month will be prorated, i.e.,

    - you will be charged from 17th till 30th only
    - your usage limit will also be reduced. 1.5 GB is for the full month. You will be allowed free usage for 17th till 30th and all extra usage will be charged at usual rate.
