    Default help needed

    guys from the last few days i m facing frequent dissconnection on my bsnl 1350 plus connection.

    My modem is UT300 r2 n m using open DNS
    following r the values:









    my bsnl connection is getting more cumbersome.Plz help guys.

    Your SNR is low but not too low. When you face disconnection check the SNR values at that instant.

    Since this is a link failure you should contact BSNL customer care and book a complain. Make sure all the cables are properly attached. Theres a seperate complain for unstable link but not sure how quickly they respond.

    Suggestion 1 :
    Enter Opendns in the modem settings page
    shown 192.168.1.1

    Suggestion 2:
    Keep only GDMT/Glite/T413 and Bitswap enabled.
    Uncheck rest. Annex M disabled.

    dude i cudnt follow ur 1st option coz i eas unable to access main page settings

    the second option i tried out here is the feedback:





    after these settings my upload frm vuze just stopped its downloading but not uploading.

    There is probably nothing wrong with your modem. The problem may be with the external line or at the exchange.

    I suggest that you make a complaint to BSNL. Just online complaint may not do the trick. You should visit the exchange also.

    guys bsnl ppl r just sh**.i complained as said ,first their line man came,another person maybe the head an old guy of 50 yrs came to chk ....as usual didnt find anything wrong..dont know whn bsnl will hv gud enginners to look into customer's problems......my net connection is going haywire ,,just resetting on its own after 20-30 mins.

    All you can do is keep trying ... thats bsnl ... you may even want to pay a visit to their office and lodge a complain yourself. Now dont play all nice with them. It usually never works. Try to roughen it up a bit.
