Thread: How do i use bsnl broadband as wifi

hi,

I have BSNL broadband connection with a modem UT300R2U. I want to share my broadband to my laptop wirelessly using WiFi and to my nokia N85 using WiFi.

So what are the Equipments do i need!! plz suggest me ... i need help its urgent plz

1.You need a wifi router example netgear WGR614
cost about Rs 1600 to Rs 2000/=
( An installation CD will be available)

2. Or you can get from BSNL a model
ADSLmodem+router+WIFI
such as UtstarWA3002-g4/
ITI211-I or
siemens sl2-141 or
ZXDSL 531 etc

Many threads with instructions for setting WIFI link
using different modems/wifi routers are available.

4. Also your laptop may have built-in Wireless LAN card.
If not buy a new unit for about Rs 1000/=
