Rep Power: 0  |  BSNL Broadband getting disconnected every 2 minutes Hi All, I am living in Pune. I have BSNL Broadband connection at home. My connection is getting disconnected every 2 minutes. I did lots of follow up with BSNL exchange also about that. They are saying that DSL link is stable means there is problem in my PC itself (virus problem). I heard that there is virus which is disconnecting our connection time to time. Can anybody suggest me if its a virus problem or is there any solution for this thing. Regards, Ajay |

Rep Power: 12  | Please mention the modem model and make in all posts. We need some "Blood test report " of your modem settings! I mean SNR/Attn etc to investigate the frequent disconnection/s. Check ADSL menu item in modem. Please ensure your system is connected as per this diagram. UT-300R2U ADSL MODEM CONNECTION ( HINT: ALL phones after the ADSL splitter ) Later we may take an "Xray" of your computer. In the meantime run Antivirus application. It may take about one to two hours. Feedback. |
