Thread: BSNL Broadband getting disconnected every 2 minutes

Hi All,

I am living in Pune. I have BSNL Broadband connection at home. My connection is getting disconnected every 2 minutes. I did lots of follow up with BSNL exchange also about that.

They are saying that DSL link is stable means there is problem in my PC itself (virus problem).

I heard that there is virus which is disconnecting our connection time to time.

Can anybody suggest me if its a virus problem or is there any solution for this thing.

Please check whether your line comes after splitter

Please mention the modem model and make in all posts.

We need some "Blood test report " of your modem settings!
I mean SNR/Attn etc to investigate the frequent disconnection/s.
Check ADSL menu item in modem.

Please ensure your system is connected as per this diagram.

Later we may take an "Xray" of your computer.
In the meantime run Antivirus application.
It may take about one to two hours.
