afetr setting to bridge mode in modem in your PC LAN settings set IP to 192.168.1.6,gateway to 192.168.1.1,network mask 255.255.255.0 & DNS server as 192.168.1.1(primary).

    1.
    If your browser is IE
    go to
    tools
    Internet options
    connections
    select never dial a connection
    Ok or apply and save.
    Feedback.

    2.
    In Network show all connections
    select dialup connection
    delete. if not working.

    3. start/ all programs/accessories/
    communications
    create new dialer.
    Network connection wizard
    follow instructions.

    4. Now in modem change in WAN page to "Bridged"

    5. Feedback.

C2110 (Type-A) ADSL MODEM MULTIUSER CONFIGURATION

In step 14 presume you are selecting "bridged".

    1. Your dialer settings are incorrect.
    or
    2. In modem settings are not correct.

If in "Always On" mode you can connect
in Dialer mode also should connect to Internet.

    3. In dialer mode ( I have XP pro sp2 )
    Start RUN type cmd
    type Ipconfig /all
    post data.

    4. Compare with "Always on" connection (3)

changing to Opera to check. settings for connections.
update: no settings for dialer seen.

in pppoe mode , to switch off internet you could just switch off your modem , thats what most people do , you dont need to login to 192.168.1.1 and do it..

in bridged mode , when dialing are you sure its connected successfully , does it says " registering your computer on the network" ?? are you then able to access 192.168.1.1 ?? are you able to ping 208.67.222.222 in bridged mode?

when you are using pppoe mode do you using your Bsnl user id and password to your modem to connect the net?

If you are not able to connect the net in bridge mode but you are successfully log in to the bsnl isp using your user id and password then it's mean the problem from your side.

do a bridge mode again and log in to your Bsnl isp and cheak this address it is opening or not.
    http://69.147.76.15/

If you can open this address then the problem from your firewall settings or any antivirus with firewall settings where the dns blocking by the firewall.

Uninstall the antivirus with firewall and try again.

I am from Kolkata -- SaltLake

    @bunty20077
    see this modem page.

    http://s226.photobucket.com/albums/d...ppoe_0_352.jpg

Now your settings are in PPPoE "always On" mode.
Uncheck the button in above page.
    Select "bridged"
    click NEXT
    rest no changes.
Save REBOOT . WAIT for one or two minutes.
    .
Now you can use your dialer.

    Feedback.
