Thread: errr... bsnl bill

I'm a new BSNL subscriber for the 500c+ plan, 2.5GB monthly limit.

I kept the usage around 100MB below the allocated limit for the month, but still i have an unexpectedly large bill...

What's this Miscellaneous Facility Charge again?? I'm using my own instrument and my own modem, did all phone wire connections myself, configured broadband myself and everything basically... the bsnl technician didn't even touch a thing other than just checking if the phone and internet were working.
I have NO CLUE what i'm being charged for.

Please make a call to accounts section and enquire. If it is an error you correct it the same time.

just got my BSNL bill!
i connect my net on 31st of may!
& used Home500 plan!
& used june whole month(used limited in 2.5 GB)

got the Bill Rs.1750!

Optional service charges shown 1198?

i think they charged may month to?

is the may month chargable?
please reply urgent!

The best option will be a call to BSNL accounts section. They can correct it if it is an error. Call customer care and request the phone no of accounts section.

hey i went to BSNL exchange!
they told me they taken the rental of month June(which i used) & July(in advance) how they can take Bill in advance before i use & without checking usage?
is this there pattern?

It is time you read the " Precautions during plan change " thread. BSNL will charge one or two month's rent as advance according to the billing cycle for plans other than start up plan.

Yes. Billing is in advance. Usage charges are in to be paid in arrears.

To explain further, assume plan Home 500 C+:

a) Let us say that a bill is generated on 1-July.
b) The bill will have Rs. 600 as plan charges for Home 500 C+ plan for July.
c) It may have BB usage charges for June (if limit exceeded 2.5GB)
d) It may also have voice calls charges for voice calls exceeding 50.
e) Service Tax will be calculated on all of the above.
