Exclamation frequent rebooting of the modem causing a problem

    hi friends,
    I am using bsnl broadband.

1)I am experiencing the problem of frequent disconnection say once in ten minutes (modem is rebooting i guess). The modem i use is dataone UTSTARCOM MODEL UT300R2U.
IT IS CAUSING A SERIOUS PROBLEM WHILE I AM USING FOR ONLINE TRADING WHICH MAKES FREQUENT LOGINS. And the downloads are getting disconnecting frequently

2)AND the DATA LED light is always on and blinks on when data is exchanged, but the problem is the same model and bsnl connection I saw with my friend, the DATA LED will be off and blinks only when used.

KINDLY HELP ME FIX THIS PROBLEM.

    thanks in advance
