    FIRST OF ALL "InnoMedia MTA6328-1Be2S" IS NOT A MODEM, its needed for phone and fax service deployment on Metro Ethernet network!!! like Reliance Broadnet uses

    InnoMedia: Broadband VoIP telephony CPE MTA ATA voice and video devices for residential SOHO and enterprise markets

    read here about it.

    MTA 6328-1Be2S an ideal device for Optic fiber or other high-speed broadband deployments in which data throughput is critical.

    yah dude

    That "G" port activated through WAN port if u pull out main CAT5 cable then that G port is disabled.

    this is how it connects

    CAT5 cable---------------->WAN jack

    after 10 seconds READY light glows which indicates ur PHONE is ready to use.

    @madhuys
    Do you have the user manual ?
    Reason for needing FW update ?
    For BSNL BB service: how many systems desktop/laptop are in use ?
    Did you get an ADSL modem to connect ?
    With 1 voice port and 2 LAN ports, the MTA 6328-1Be2S is an ideal solution for broadband service providers to deploy residential broadband triple play (voice, high-speed Internet access, and IP TV) services.
    Please read the thread from start.
    Need another adsl modem to use this as a router.

    Default Regarding the use of the Phone port of the MTA6328-1Be2S device

    I have an Innomedia mta6328-1Be2S device and a Motorola SB5100 router and a broadband plan with 10mbps speed plan. Now is there any way that I can use my landline phone (which is connected to the phone port of the MTA device) to dial any number from Google Voice through an SIP client called Sipsorcery. If possible, please provide me the step-by-step information as to how to setup the arrangement. Please help me out if possible.

    Who is your Broadband Service Provider ?
    IF BSNL ( as you have posted in this forum mention Tariff plan )

    Which is the input port in Innomedia ?
    How do you connect the data cable from Innomedia to computer?

    A.Battery LED B. On/Off switch
    C. Power D. Restore button
    E. WAN port F. LAN ports
    G. RJ-11 port

    Para two:
    Usually a LAN cable Rj45 will be connected to the unit supplied by the VOIP provider. ( subscription needed ) Vonage/which I was/am using and Phone connected to this unit.

    any way that I can use my landline phone (which is connected to the phone port of the MTA device) to dial any number
    Port G above ? not sure.
    Connect a Phone and dial a local number. Test and confirm.

    Para three:
    SURFboard SB5100 Cable Modem used for cable DSL BB ISP's.
    Were you using it with any Cable BB provider such as Hathway ?
