If you use a dialler or wireless connection the values need to be entered in the respective connection icons in the control panel. You can configure static IP instead of dynamic IP. It will be only a minor change. Enter 192.168.1.25 instead of 192.168.1.2

Problem here!

1.
Connect the OLD PC1 to the modem .
Post ipconfig /all data here
Confirm Internet working fine.
2
connect PC2 to USB port
Postipconfig /all data here
confirmed Internet working:
3.
Remove the USB cable from PC2
Connect Rj45 to computer.
Postipconfig /all data here.
4.
You have IP address problem.
DHCP range 192.168.1.1
to say 192.168.1.10
Default modem gateway for USB and LAN will be different.
but IP address of computer must be same
