I have lost my broadband password. I don't remember it. How can i get it reset or resent?

You can get it reset from your local exchange

suggestion above is OK.

Assume you are connecting to Internet
in "Always ON" mode , in which your
UserID and PW are entered in the
WAN page of your modem.
Option 1 :

If your IP is 117.xx.xx.xx
then you can use your 14 digit portal ID
and password as Password ,
( Also get it from your Exchange )
and
go to BSNL - Broadband Account Management
and change your Password.

Then you have to re enter it in modem
to connect, to access the net.

Option 2:
In FireFox or IE
open the modem's WAN page.
Click in Context menu
view Page source
Scroll down the page.
Your PW will appear in plain language.


Option 3:
Google and search for "Password revealer"
Download suitable application.

Pass the key over the hidden password.
May not work for XP OS log in.

Call your exchange or customer care. Request a password reset.

Which one did you change ? Portal password or password of connection ?

option 2 mentioned by essbebe should work well!!
