Thread: Integrating Westell wireless router

hi..
I bought a Westel 327W wireless router. Now in India how could i integrate with my BSNL Dataone connection. I have a BSNL ADSL modem at home...i tried connecting the ethernet wire frm the adsl modem to the router...and i cud detect the wireless network in my laptop. but now how shud i set up bsnl connection in it....pls help me guys....

1....Mention your BSNL modem details.
2......Confirm you get connected to internet.
3.......Confirm you have enabled DHCP in the bsnl modem.

Or, I guess could just paste it over for reference:
1. Go to Configuration / Advanced WAN / WAN
2. Change WAN port from DSL ATM to ETHERNET PORT 1
3. Make sure that it is set up as a Routed Bridge
4. Once modem resets, select WAN again from the Advanced WAN menu
5. Click the "Edit" button
6. Change the DHCP to enabled
7. Save your changes
8. Turn off both cable and dsl modem
9. Turn on cable modem first, then dsl modem after a couple of seconds.
