Rep Power: 0  |  max download speed ? hello frnz, I am using BSNL broadband with 512kbps unlimited download pkg. But I never saw a download speed beyond 55kbps thru bittorrent / utorrent for any download ( doesnt matter how many seeds r there ). What kind of download speeds u guys r getting for the similar kind of connections ? I tried doing port forwarding and changing the setting of bit torrent but no use at all...i get the same speed b4 and after the settings change. Help is required here to speed up th download...i dont think it is worth paying 1300+ for 55kbps download.... Thx... Niki... |

|  I am also on the same plan. I get the same speeds (55 to 60KBps) on torrents. I am using this plan on 2 pcs so its worth for me. |

| Of course its for 1 pc only. I got this plan because 256kbps speed was not enough for a shared internet between 2 pcs. Quote:

| 512 Kbps = 512/8 = 64 KBps Your maximum speed is 64 KBps. The speed you get depend on many factors like distance from exchange, quality of the line etc. |

| Very rarely have I seen it happen. However when I conduct a speed test I always get more than 70-80KBps. |
