Default Bill paid twice...

Hi,
I paid my BSNL landline bill twice last month. My roomy paid it manually while I paid it through internet unknowingly. Now I've got the bill for this month and they didn't specify anything about the credit. Don't bsnl guys adjust if I pay the bill amount in excess?
What thing I'll have to do to reclaim my money?
The days are not going good to me these days.

try contacting the accounts office in your area with proof for payment . they can help ya.

First of all , you will have to produce the documents showing that you have paid your bill. This situation happened in my home related to the electricity bill when I & my uncle both pay the same bill.
Well , I had to go to the bill centre ( I think telephone exchange in your case).
And told my problems to executive there ( I think JE in your case). He contacted concern authority and my next bill was deducted with the amount I paid.

well is there any transaction ID or unique ID for that. If not simply approach them with receipt for manual payment.

Did ya enquire anything from 1504 ?

I don't know ,most probably I think you will have to produce the account statement.

The account section can check for proof regarding online transfer. All you need to do is call the account officer (if no. not available, call customer care and ask the number). Talk to the accounts section and seek help. They can check the records from the PC. When I got repeated bills, I followed this and got credit in next bill.

I checked my online bill payment details and there's Payment Id for the payment. Shall I take a printout and approach account office?

I tried calling customer care but nobody attended my call. Seems they're on holiday since it's sunday today.

That's some good news. will call customer care center tomorrow. lets see wat happens.

Bill will get adjusted. Pune BSNL is not as bad as everywhere else but it needs follow up.
