Thread: slow internet speed

Hi friends... I am not able to browse properly...
i am posting the SNR ratings n all...
I dont no wats the problem...

I think your Attenuation value is too high probably that the one reason.
Tell us that what is your tariff plan and also what speed are you getting ?

plan is bsnl 500C. I am getting download speed 170kb/s... and one thing i have observed is that bsnl have fixed Rate(kbps) to 2045...10 days back i was getting around 9000

SNR Margin (dB): 33.4 26.7
Attenuation (dB): 40.0 19.9
Output Power (dBm): 12.2 17.9
Attainable Rate (Kbps): 12296 1241
Rate (Kbps):2045 509

limited to 1024kbps on a 2mbps plan? are you sure? could you post a screenshot

i have asked all my friends near my area...they r also getting 170 kb/s speed... ther speed r also limited to 2045kbps.

net conditions, and servers used by web sites,

Mention your modem model and make
Test speed at speed test.net
say New Delhi and Sydney servers. Post data.
