BSNL ASDL modem with other service providers

This is a discussion on BSNL ASDL modem with other service providers within the BSNL broadband forums, part of the Broadband Internet Service Providers category; I have BSNL ASDL modem (type 4). Does anyone know whether it can work with other service providers like Airtel....

I have BSNL ASDL modem (type 4). Does anyone know whether it can work with other service providers like Airtel.

.... Use VPI/VCI 1 and 32.
..... Airtel userid and PW
.......and dns of Airtel or Opendns
........208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222
...........This link useful for many BSNL supplied WIFI routers.

BSNL provides ADSL based service; so the modem should work with any ADSL based ISP's service.
