Exclamation Internet Not Working

Hi All,

I have BSNL BroadBand Connection at my home with the 250 plan. I have a problem since 10 days; though the modem is working, internet is not working. The Modem has 4 LEDs on its panel: DSL, Power, Internet and I don't remember the fourth one. But the LEDs for the three glow except the Internet LED. Can anyone suggest what to do..?

Please mention when you are trying to connect internet which number of error is showing ?
If you can then mention also modem model number also.

Are you on bridged mode or PPPoe mode?

If you use a dialler, the third LED won't glow. It is also known as bridge mode. Switch off the modem and switch it On, check whether all 4 LEDs glow for a second. Also please mention the error you get while trying to get connected. Mention modem - model and make.

Recognise your modem model.
if seen please mention it here.
or give the modem model make.

Thanks all for the reply...I do not know whether it is bridged mode or PPOE...

Hey meetdilip...When I switch off and then switch on the modem, the 4 LEDs do glow for a second. Will have to look at the Modem Model and other details...But it looks similar to this: salepriceshop.info/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/zxdsl-531b-01-300x292.jpg

login to your modem and look under the STATUS page , do you use a dialer to connect to the internet or does the internet work as soon as you switch on your modem?
