As described here i have done aal the setting of the modem and it got connected (In Auto Dialup Mode)... since it is showing connected in modem configuration page (192.168.1.1). But the problem is I am unable to open any site. In the diagnose problem feature of vista it is showing problem with dns server... What is the problem? |

| It generic. Please mention the mode you are using. Can you connect to internet by simply switching On your modem or you need a dialler ? Are you sure that you changed the setting in the proper connection. Try in LAN also ( Local area connection ). |

IT is IN AUTO DIAL Mode. Means it gets connected as soon as i switch on the modem. All four lights including the the DATA/Internet Light Glows. All values like VCI etc are correct 0-35. N it is showing connected there... bt vista is not connecting to internet. In Network n Connection sharing it is showing cross MArks in LAN to Internet Line. I have only one LAN Card through which my modem is connected (ZTE 830 AII) | |
