Default Home 500+ Plan:Internet Freezes after Every10 Minutes.Need to restart modem everytime

    Hey guys,
    I am from Ahmedabad
I have just taken Home 500+ plan and using since 2 days
Now i am facing problem that just after 10 minutes of using Internet freezes and Internet Green Light on modem goes off and i am not able to access internet. I have to restart the modem and then it starts functioning again and again after using for another 10-15 min it freezes again. However if i don't use internet and keep the modem as it is then Internet Green Light doesn't go off.

However I have seen that this majorly happens during Night Unlimited period of 2 am to 8 am. I think that BSNL i have deliberately kept such thing so that we don't download much during night unlimited period. But now faced similar problem during day chargeable period also.

I am using ZTE modem and have connected it through my Netgear router.
Please if any body having the same experience and have overcome this let me know?

    Regards,
    Vishal

check if it is a spliter fault by directly connecting the router to the phone line rather than through the splitter.

    1.Try OpenDNS 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222
2.Try to change the Mod mode to GDMT in ZTE adsl modem.
    3. Post as annexure jpg picture: adsl data of the modem.
    or give data of
SNR ATTN line speed mod selected.

    4. Ensure ALL PHONES are connected AFTER the ADSL splitter.
    5. If phone extensions available in other rooms , use ADDITIONAL
    ADSL splitter/s.
    Detailed instructions if needed.

If you are using a dialler, delete the present one and create a new one and try.

BSNL or any ISP does not deliberately disrupt internet. It is a problem with your line. As meetdilip mentioned the most likely fault is the splitter.

Even otherwise modem is connected to PHONE junction direct.

With phone in cradle, if filter circuit is bad ( remote chance )
we have to check SNR data in this condition.
then with telephone in use again SNR data .
Then Decide the ADSL filter is faulty. if SNR is very bad.
SNR Margin (dB): 30.3 16.8 (* with adsl splitter
    Attenuation (dB): 8.5 19.6 Phones idle. )
Further report later. LUNCH break. !
