    Default Regarding Night unlimited

Frens i wanted to know something about night unlimited home 500 plan
i read somewhere that if net is connected from 2:00 AM < connection time < 8:00 AM then its ok but if i connect continuously say from 6:30 to 8:30 i will be charged for comlete data transfer and not just the one from 8-8:30

Thnx in advance and sorry if my question is repeated tried searching but was not able to find

And i Too (Lot like others )am facing problem of frequent modem disconnection it is pretty annoying .... and there is no response from BSNL guyz they just call saying they will come but they don't

Look it's not like that just follow this
1.Set your PC clock with BSNL server

    2. Connect the internet at 2:02-2:06 AM

    3. Never connect before 2 AM just for unlimited download.as a example if you connect net at 1:40 AM - 3:00 AM then BSNL will charge you full usage in that session. So procedure is disconnect the net at 1:55 AM and reconnect it 2:05 AM

    4. Now in case of morning although such thing BSNL never did if you connect at 7:00 AM and disconnect at 9:00 AM normally BSNL never charge you full usage for that.Even they never charge you before 8:20-8:25 AM.

5.Just remember this is unofficial free time we never know when they will charge so better to disconnect it at 8:00 AM and 2nd thing to take this unofficial advantage you have to remember that night unlimited login session must be less than 6 hour. That mean if you connected at 2:02 AM then disconnect it at 7:55 AM and reconnect it again at 7:56 AM to get this advantage.

To be on safer side, always reboot a little after 2.00 am and a little before 8.00 am.

    Default Thnx

Thanks for the prompt reply Friends but i am still not clear about this unofficial free time as u mentioned because they have mentioned about it while purchasing plan and it is on internet.... I don't use it at night(Am from Ghaziabad ,UP we have power cuts of 10 hrs per day so i don't rather i Can't) its just at mornings that i am concerned off....

My friend has a net connection of 2mbps and when ever i try in "speedtest.net" it shows 2mbps but when i download from torrent because of lack of seeds or so i get speed of say 512kbps (Am saying for example OK!!!) then the remaining band width should be available for browsing but it doesn't happen as my browsing gets devastatingly hampered by torrent while am just d/l @512kbps and uploading @ 100kbps or less

This specially happens when any particular torrent is bot downloading or uploading am not sure about it but i feel so

    Thanks in advance

For torrents, port forwarding will be useful to increase the speed. Select your modem from portforward.com.

You need not be awake to avail night unlimited. The whole process can be automated. Try this

You must correctly understand the concepts of port forwarding and why it required, how it is done, etc.
