Thread: BSNL Broadband Internet Problem

I have got TNDSL 2120 Modem. I have configured this modem by opening setup by address 192.168.1.1

I configured in the Advance Setup --> WAN the protocol PPPoE against VPI/VCI - 0/35 and entered username and password provided by BSNL.

Also, For my PC, I assigned IP address 192.168.1.3 and subnet mask 255.255.255.0
and Preferred DNS server :218.248.240.23
Alternate DNS server: 192.168.1.1


I can ping router 192.168.1.1

In Status, Power,Link and Line are Green except Data, which is off.

Please help me to configure BSNL broadband.

entering USERID without @ bsnl.in
Please post as annexure jpg picture any page
of modem ( preferably Device Status ) with menu
or Advanced options showing on left.
can check for similar modem/s.

Did you wait at least for 2 or 3 minutes
for modem to reboot after making the entries ?

Which entries show failure ?
