Would you please be more specific? Your question is too vague.

there's no separate charge for chatting. Only the amount of data you download counts.

There are no specific charges pertaining to chatting. Chatting comprises data transfer and you are charged accordingly. Obviously voice chatting and video chatting involve more data transfer than text chatting so the data transferred corresponds accordingly......

You are charged as per the monthly usage. Chatting will also add to your usage. Text chatting is less bandwidth hungry but video chatting consumes a lot of bandwidth.

Use the portal to check and monitor usage continuosly. Use bandwidth meters to monitor usage during actual chat session.

BSNL charges according to our download / upload. For one hour of chatting,

If text chatting - 20 - 25 MB

Video chatting - 100 - 150 MB

20-25mb just for text chatting? are you sure?

Just maximum values. People normally browse along side. If I quoted a bit higher value to be in a safe zone.
