I am new to this forum.
I just took the BSNL broad band connection with Type 1 modem.
First when i connected to internet, i changed my password (for eg. from xyz to abc) which BSNL line man gave it to me while installation.
The very next day i was unable to connect to internet. Then i used the new password (ie abc) in 192.168.1.1 I was then able to connect to internet.
Just after 2 days i was unable to connect to internet.
Other details:
1. Modem works fine, as i checked it in my friends sys.
2. I changed my password to the old one (from abc to xyz).
3. I didn't get bsnl.in id from anywhere, is this the problem? cos of this i am unable to check the internet usage.
4. I changed my dataone.in mail pwd to old one (from abc to xyz).
5. Call center 1500 seems 24/7 engaged. it gives me engaged tone whenever they try to connect my call to operator.
6. Phone line works fine. i am able to call mobile no.'s.
7. Ethernet card works fine.
8. Mine is 299 plan.
Data led doesn't glow and i am unable to connect to internet.
i took broad band connection a week before after a month struggle. i used only 3 days after that problem persist. Call center is busy and the bsnl officers are extremely busy.
please suggest me some solution to get this fixed.
