    Exclamation Problem in Modem

    Modem Model : DNA A211-1
    Plan Type : 750UL

For the past 1 week my internet connection is not working. Green light didnt turned on for "inet" line in my modem. Other lights like DSL, Wlan turned on when i start my modem. When i talked with the customer care they saying like you have problems in modem only. They asked me to bring the modem there to the BSNL office. But i couldnt go there because of my office timings. Can anyone please tell why it is not working?

    1. Type 192.168.1.1 in your browser and check whether you can enter the modem's menu page.

    2. Start > run > cmd > ipconfig/all, post the screen shot.

If "INET" Lamp is not comming up then try switching OFF the modem and ON it again.

Hope you are using the PPPoE mode check the user id and password in Advanced Setup > Wide Area Network (WAN) Setup it may happen that it might have got reset to default.

Upgrade the Software of the modem DNA-A211-I Software Upgrade -- SEMINDIA

If that too not working then change to Bridging in your modem then try to connecting using the diler.
