Rep Power: 1 | Hi All, I got my new BSNL Modem today (WA3002G4). I followed following URL to turn OFF WLAN. mp.bsnl.co.in/bb/wa3002g4/wa3002g4.htm#yes During that I deleted all Bridge protocoles in WAN setup page at 192.168.1.1. I saved and did a Reboot router - after that the DSL LED went OFF and I couldnt open any page including 192.168.1.1. I tried a master reset by pressing RESET switch on modem for 20 seconds - but it didnt show any indication that a reset is happening. My modem was ON that time and was connected to the splitter. LED status: Power: ONipconfig results: Windows IP Configuration I checked the line by connecting to my land phone - it is working. Please help - thanks in advance. |

Nothing secret about this . IF FOLLOWING DOES NOT HELP WILL UPDATE. Para two: http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...reference.html (UTSTAR WA3002-G4 quick reference) Use the Chennai links or the blog site to reprogram your WA3002-g4. ( settings pages are different to WA3002-g1) Reset the modem. ( if not done ) Start RUN type cmd Ok new window opens . type ipconfig /all .... Ip 192.168.1.3 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.1 should appear. if not Start Network LAN properties Network settings TCP/IP properties. Enter above values DNS 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222 Apply save. Now try to access 192 168.1.1 VPI/VCI 0 and 35 for BSNL. REF:http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...reference.html (UTSTAR WA3002-G4 quick reference) Feedback. | |

Rep Power: 1 | Closing the thread, modem had some hardware issues - they replaced the modem and now working fine... However it’s difficult to deal with these persons... while registering the complaint they didn’t accept my mobile number! I had to forward my landline calls to my mobile to receive their follow-up. They don’t work on second Saturdays - I took half day leave to receive them at their convenience However, things were easy as I was in good terms with my line-man Thank you all for the reply |
