Rep Power: 2 | Currently I have BSNL Home 1000. Typically I get anywhere between 500-700ms latency to US and UK servers. BSNL also seems very unreliable when it comes to connections outside India - latencies fluctuate on a daily basis and there are days with considerable packet loss to foreign servers. Will a different ISP help ? (I'm from South Kolkata) Right now I'm spending Rs 1000 on Internet; I usually end up downloading anywhere between 4-4.5 GB per month. I also want an unlimited night time Usage because I sometimes download stuff in the night (video games/movies). I understand that for a plan change I will have to pay the other ISP's phone rental so I don't want to pay more than Rs. 1000 total. Can anyone recommend a good plan or ISP for me or am I stuck with this shitty BSNL connection forever ? |

Rep Power: 10 | BSNL is excellent for downloads but sucks when it comes online gaming... I don't have much idea about the ISPs in Kolkata... But according to my experience with people who used to play from Kolkata were using Sify... Check out the plans... |
