Red face Modem type UT300R2U connection problem

    hi all,
I am connecting UT300R2U modem with my PC through USB, It is working fine with my laptop connected through ethernet. ( Earlier it was working fine with PC too but as my PC crashed down the settings were reset.)
I followed the steps for Broadband configuration and first time i was able to connect to 198.162.1.2 but after choosing to reboot the router all connection went down.
Now when i try to connect 198.162.1.2 it shows me "Page cannot be displayed"
When i try to ping 198.162.1.2 it says Destination host unreachable

    Please help me out.

    Thanks in Advance

remove USB cable from computer end.
    Uninstall modem usb drivers.
Now again load the drivers to say C:/My Documents?UT300r2u USB.

    switch off system
connect modem usb cable to Computer USB port
    restart system
    Let Windows detect New hardware.
    asks for drivers
specify above location and load drivers
, if it worked earlier , now the drivers will be accepted.
else "BOD" computer may switch off.
    Now Check connection in desktop.
    feedback.
