You will find everything from the following pages:
1. BSNL Broadband Tariff
2. BSNL Broadband FAQ
So I will be charged as :
Installation charges Rs 250(If modem taken from BSNL)
Security Deposit of Modem (refundable) Rs 500 (if applicable)
Advance Monthly Rental for Modem According to type of Modem (As applicable)
Security Deposit for BB
One month charges as per Plan but maximum to Rs 5000/- (or as applicable)
Advance Monthly Rental for BB As per billing cycle (one Month /two months)
But if i'm purchasing modem from BSNL, then also i have to pay (Security Deposit of Modem (refundable) Rs 500 (if applicable)
Advance Monthly Rental for Modem According to type of Modem (As applicable)
Plz. clearify
you either pay the cost of the modem plus VAT for outright purchase or deposit for modem plus monthly rental (plus service tax) for taking modem on rental but not both.
presently, only Type I modem is given on rental.
In addition, as you do not have a existing connection, for a new landline connection, the deposit charges of 1000 and installation charges would separately be applicable.
For new landline
1. Registration Charges (only if there is a waiting list) : 500
In Bill
2. Deposit (Local+STD) : 500
3. Installation charges : 500
Total 1000 plus service tax on (3) 52 i.e. 1052
For Broadband
1. Modem Cost (assuming type I): 1000 plus VAT (assumed 6%)
2. Installation charges : 250
3. Deposit : 500
4. Rent : 500
5. Service tax on 2 & 4 : 103
total for BB : 2413
total bill : 3465
All of them has already given you a suggestion I want to say you. Home 500 C and C+ possibly the best plan of BSNL at present moment and according to your day usage you chose the plan if you can restrict your day usage within 1.5 GB then 500C is best otherwise C+ we will get 2.5 GB then
At the moment bsnl is taking no installation charges for new landline & broadband, might find the same at your place too. hope soooo.
Ok I will check it after 15th august, because I heard that BSNL is going to announce in plan on that day...........
Is this true?
Still a rumour. Wait and see.
Ok................:d
