Default Port Forwarding Issues in Nokia siemens Networks C2110

In Router C2110 have problem in Port Forwarding even in DMZ. In Windows 2000 the Upnp dosenot support and thats why the DMZ or Port Forwarding is require for the connection from the outside. specially for the torrent. But the router C2110 which is provided from Nokia siemens Networks have problem in Port Forwarding and DMZ even the virtual server dose not work in this model.

If anyone try to test this router from the operation system of Xp then nothing wrong will be fiend from it. Because the Nokia siemens Networks C2110 have upnp enable. But from the windows 2000 the problem will be detect because the windows 2000 dose not have the upnp devices.

If you use PFPortChecker from the Portforward.com in win xp then the fault can be fiend.

My qustion is, is there any software that can enable the upnp in windows 2000.
Or any settings for Port Forwarding or the DMZ that I miss so I cant configure with windows 2000.

I know the old version of the firmware of this router works with Port Forwarding. anyone knows the old firmware downlod links.
Or if any software that can enable the upnp in windows 2000 will really help.

    If anyone knows please reply.

Views 120 and only one person try to help me, anyway I solve my problem my self. actually the problem from the firmware of this router. This firmware dosenot support the DMZ and the Port Forwarding. The firmware of the new model say Nokia siemens Networks C2110 with the version of V55.1.04.6 and V55.1.04.8 and V55.1.04.9 and V55.1.04.10 have bug or fault in this relese. This all version of firmware dosenot work with Port Forwarding and DMZ. But in the previous version of the firmware which is only say the name Siemens works good with the Port Forwarding and DMZ rules. The previous version is V55.1.03.06 and V55.1.04.02. This version of the firmware works good with the Port Forwarding and DMZ rules. but in the firmware of V55.1.03.06 have problem with the auto disconnect if there is no trafic on the line.
I get the new model from BSNL say Nokia siemens Networks C2110 with the firmware of V55.1.04.10. When I try to configur the Port Forwarding rules for the Windows 2000 this dosenot work and then I try with the DMZ option but this is also dosenot work. The port is still block. Windows 2000 dosenot support the upnp device so if we want to open the port then we have to try with Port Forwarding or dmz. In Windows XP I install the software PFPortChecker from the Portforward.com and put the IP address of my XP to the DMZ of the Nokia siemens Networks C2110 and when I run for the test I found port is not open. anyway then I fiend the firmware of the version V55.1.03.06 and V55.1.04.02 which is only say the name Siemens and upgrade from V55.1.04.10 to V55.1.03.06 and test with the Port Forwarding and DMZ and works well in XP with PFPortChecker and Windows 2000. Then I upgrade the Firmware to V55.1.04.02. This also works good with Port Forwarding and DMZ.
The problem start with the Port Forwarding and DMZ from the relese of Nokia siemens Networks C2110. This relese of all firmware have bug or fault in the Port Forwarding and DMZ even in the letest firmware V55.1.04.10.
Any one who are using this relese of firmware can cheak with the PFPortChecker in Windows XP. In Windows xp if you run the utorrent and try to cheak the port is open or not from the utorrent site this allwase shows to you the port is open. Because the utorrent support the upnp. But using of utorrent in Windows 2000 dosenot work with upnp.
If anyone need the old firmware for the Port Forwarding and DMZ can ask me I will email you with the firmware.

Anyone knows what is the official site of this Nokia siemens Networks C2110 so possible to get the new relese of firmware with bug fix.

thank you I have updated my modem firmware successfully but I do not know how to do port forward in this firmware as there is no security option.
It has completely different layout and view.
If this firmware automatically allow ports to be forwarded.

Browse this link for the portforwarding
    http://192.168.1.1/webconfig/portfor...rwarding0.html

Your current firmware has the UPNP enable, so if you using utorrent then you dont need to forward your port because utorrent support UPNP.

I was wrong in my previous post, this link providing the old firmware of C2110
