Default what is BSNL DNS address?

i am using pppoe mode and i don't have to put any address in the primary and secondary DNS address.i have checked the "obtain DNS server address automatically".i just want to know what is the address.is it

    primary 208.67.222.222
    secondary 208.67.220.220

    or

    primary DNS address 218.248.240.79
    secondary DNS address 218.248.240.181

my modem registers the second set of DNS address automatically.

    From wikipedia :
The Domain Name System (DNS) is a naming system for computers, services, connected to the Internet or a private network. An often used analogy to explain the Domain Name System is that it serves as the "phone book" for the Internet by translating human-friendly computer hostnames into IP addresses. For example, Example Web Page translates to 208.77.188.166.

Internet domain names are easier to remember than IP addresses such as 208.77.188.166 (IPv4) or 2001:db8:1f70::999:de8:7648:6e8 (IPv6). People take advantage of this when they recite meaningful URLs and e-mail addresses without having to know how the machine will actually locate them.
DNS basically converts ibf to 167.345.43.34 , which is how machines communicate.

And each ISP provides this functionality, which is what is BSNL DNS.

Open DNS is a private company giving the same functionality. It is considered to be faster and reliable, but people's opinion's are mixed.

BSNL DNS address differs by region, I believe.

If you wish to use BSNL DNS, just leave the setting to 'Automatic' and BSNL will assign the correct DNS properly.
