Default Unable to connect thru Linksys WRHG45 Wireless router

    Hi All,
Someone please help me. I am trying to connect the BSNL Broadband Home UL 900 plan thru Wireless so that I can access from my laptop and my desktop simultaneously.

Now here is what I have tried in short.

Tried to connect the ADSL router with bridging. ( this is clearly not working, since I still have to use the dial up to connect. )

Hence, Wireless router is not directly connecting to the internet thru PPPOE.

Second way. I connected the LAN cable coming from desktop to Wireless modem ethernet port and another LAN cable coming from ADSL router to Wireless routers ethernet port.

Now I can connect to the internet on the desktop that is directly connected to Wireless router but when i try to connect to my laptop wirelessly to the network and share the internet connection it does not work.

So, can anyone help me ???? Please.

I am using Pronet ADSL router 101e/U and Linksys Wireless router WRH54G

I am using Pronet ADSL router 101e/U and Linksys Wireless router WRH54G
Please post the screen shot of Device status. of Pronet 101e/u.

I connected the LAN cable coming from desktop to Wireless modem ethernet port
ANY connection from WIFI router to Desktop :
    Use Lanport 1 2 3 or 4. ( * CABLE rJ45 no 2)
and another LAN cable coming from ADSL router to Wireless routers ethernet port.
wrong step. seems you have connected to LAN1 etc.
This should be connected to WAN /Internet port . (*cABLE RJ45 no 1 )

    1. In your ADSL Modem Pronet enable DHCP.
    2. use 'Always On " ppp/PPPoE connection not "Bridged"
    3. Ensure Desktop works OK

    4. Changes as above.

    5. In both Desktop and laptop
    Start/network/ LAN/wLAN
    properties
    network settings page.
    TCP/IP
    properties
    Obtain IP address automatically
    Apply Save.

    6. You can also connect RJ45 ( No2) from LAN2(WRHG45)
to laptop ethernet port AND CONFIRM iNTERNET IS OK.

    7. Restore No2 Rj45 to desktop.
    8. Now try wireless mode in laptop.

In my Pronet Modem DHCP is enabled. PPPOE is also enabled and username and password are put. Now when i connect the LAN cable from ADSL router to Internet port of Wireless router, the Internet light comes on. I connected the LAN cable from the Desktop to Wireless Router Port 1. and try to connect to the internet. Now I cant connect to the internet from my desktop even.

    What to do ?

Can you give me all from start step ups to configure the whole thing ??

    Hi essbese,
When I connect the LAN2 to laptop ethernet port. Internet does not work. What I feel is that for some reason my ADSL router does not work without the bridging. Will post the screen shot of the pronet modem page in a minute.

    6. You can also connect RJ45 ( No2) from LAN2(WRHG45)
to laptop ethernet port AND CONFIRM iNTERNET IS OK.
