I am using broadband from march 2009. I got ut300r2u modem on rent with ul750. I changed my plan to h500 last month.
I need wifi to access Internet on my ipod touch. Should i rent type ii modem or buy a wifi router?
How much do i need to pay for type ii modem change(on rent)?

You can replace your present instrument with a wifi one from BSNL. You may get a concession on tariff. At present the rent is Rs. 80 per month or Rs. 1600 + tax when bought in single installment.

I don't think Type II modems are presently given on rent by BSNL. you have to purchase it.

or a router usually with wifi. Netgear wgr 614 etc.
