Not sure. I uploaded using Kilo Upload. Newprouser will be able to confirm.

Files will be present for 90 days after the last download, if people keep downloading, the 90 day limit keeps reseting.

i tried it in the starting.. its better to follow some tutorials out here than using that..

Now on beetel 110Bx1.

I lost patience waiting for something to happen !
Only good file is about Linux.
How accurate the instructions are , I cannot say.

a program about 120 MB with details of different modems firmware update very old IE Flash etc.This is included in the Installation CD supplied sometimes by BSNL for New users to set their modem/router for Internet connection.

I'm from Kerala, I got automatically forwarded to motive website.
There were these 2 things to be downloaded

• CPE Firmware Upgrade Application (about 2MB)
• User Guide

Then, below that there was a link to the 130 MB MOTIVE software too.

The CPE firmware upgrade application upgraded my firmware. Then it disappeared. But according to the user guide it would automatically download the 130 MB software too. I don't know why it didn't, but I'm waiting for the Happy hours to download it myself.

i downloaded utfwuploaderapp.exe and ran it for firmware update and it didn't update.
what is the use of the selfcare software. i didn't download it since i thought it will turn out to be a waste as the utfwuploaderapp.exe. and i don't see any reason for downloading it since i already know(thanks to indiabroadband forum) how to configure pppoe/bridge/wifi etc.

when i started installation and followed instruction according to installation it failed to detect my type 2 modem and also changed LAN configuration,it is also failed to configure outlook.This software is useless and dont waste ur time with it!

Ya. It is. Better not waste your time. You may end up corrupting your modem and LAn settings.

Well, McAfee has detected it as 'Potentially Unwanted Program'. So please be careful.

well people i was able ti upgrade my zte modem and install the motive software successfully without any glitches. i think u guys didnt read 2 important requirements written there.

1. modem should be in PPPOE mode.

2. modem should be among he models displayed on the motive site.

I think when you guys download while keeping these points in mind, then you wont be getting in any problem.

I'm from vadodara. I've ZTE - Type 1 modem provided by BSNL.
My Dynamic IP address assigned by DHCP always stays in 117.x.x.x & I'm being annoyed by this automatic redirection to motive.bsnl site from last over 3 months.

My major problem is.. when my download manager (IDM) tries to download it's files from rapidshare (i'm a rapidshare premium user), it downloads that motive.bsnl page because of that redirection.

No question whether the firmware is already upgraded or not, that page will always appear, as said in that marquee on top of the motive.bsnl page.

I blocked the site through hosts file in windows. But that will block site from viewing it. Not downloading the page.

I'm really pestered by that redirection page and I just want my IDM should download normally..

Please advice.

This is a problem of BSNL. The only thing that you can do is give a complaint to the nodal officer and/or Appellate authority.
